One of the first things I noticed with this clients website while carrying out an analytics audit was 40% of traffic was coming from mobile devices giving a 60% bounce rate from this traffic.
For this client introducing a mobile optimised version of the website offers one of the best chances for reducing bounce rate and getting more people to fill in the request form which was his main goal.

My Background In Conversion Optimization
My passion for Optimizing and continuous improvement comes from my Engineering background Optimizing Manufacturing production lines to get more out of the machinery.
When I started my first Business in 2007 I was marketing with leaflets for off market properties and I realized that by changing the name at the bottom of the leaflet from my name to my female business partners we got a 10% increase in calls!
From that point I realized I could take my Engineering background and apply it to marketing!
I didn’t know at the time but what I was doing was Conversion Rate Optimization and from then on I would test and change everything to see if I could improve it, Direct mail pieces, Website copy, Emails, Sales Pitch’s etc etc.
Over the years I became very successful and ran several different businesses but the need to optimize always remained.
Eventually I ran in to some difficulties with a less than honest business partner and lost everything.
Now I am starting again and focussing on helping business owners optimize their websites to get significant conversion rate increases, reduce their advertising spend and make more profit.
Gradually I have refined my process and applied new learning’s and technology to hone in on the best opportunities to create growth.
